Dock Levellers – New Button Control
From now on, all models of MKS Marksell hydraulic Dock Levellers will have as a differential button controls which are in accordance with the standards laid down by NR10 (Regulatory Norm 10 – Safety in Electrical Installations and Services) and CE. You will benefit from a smart service with a touch membrane, a smart service warning any failures, and a preventive maintenance timer.
As the operator will not have contact with the wiring, nor with the electrical system of the equipment, this new procedure will lower the risk of accidents at work.
The NR10 applies to all phases of generation, transmission, distribution and consumption, including all the stages of the project, construction, assembly, operation and maintenance of electrical installations, and to any tasks that are carried out in the proximity. Among the highlights are the requisites and minimum safety standards in energised electrical installations as well as the licences, qualifications, capabilities and authorities required for the workers.
The CE marking is also found on products sold outside the EEA that are manufactured in, or designed to be sold in, the EEA. This makes the CE marking recognizable worldwide even to people who are not familiar with the European Economic Area. It is in that sense similar to the FCC Declaration of Conformity used on certain electronic devices sold in the United States.
